Understanding Grief in Everyday Life

  • Sister-Bear Foundation 2213 South Georgia Street Amarillo, TX, 79109 United States (map)

Join us as we explore the many ways grief can manifest in everyday life, beyond the loss of a loved one. We will discover the different types of grief and how they impact emotional and physical well-being. We will discuss common reactions to grief, coping strategies for navigating daily life, and the importance of self-compassion and support systems. Understanding that grief is a personal and nonlinear process, helps us recognize and validate our own experiences throughout the grief journey. Join Jennifer Miller, LPC; and the Anchor Point Wellness Program team for this free event. Hosted at the NWTH Therapy Center at 2213 S. Georgia, Amarillo, TX 79109.
